This is the single Background map that covers the WORLD. For example, if you live in places like India, Tibet, or Puerto Rico and you do not have any detailed TOPO maps of your country or territory. You can use this file to give you the map information on highways and mountains where you are. You may not know how to make a map or in many cases there are no maps available for your area to purchase. Under these circumstances, this is the Universal map for you. The European Street Maps are very special programs, that took us over TWO MONTHS to develop. The maps are designed to SWITCH at the 1:50000 level to a FULL TOPO BACKGROUND maps that will show the Major Highways, etc. The new maps complement both our EXCLUSIVE WORLD_TOPO_BASEMAP or the Magellan Triton European Basemap. Our maps address: 1) Common Market Europe Countries and a Country TOPO map.

are also called BACKGROUND MAPS are NOT DETAILED maps with street names, waterways,
trails, etc. as you would obtain using software like National Geographic TOPO
software. Our maps are BASEMAPS consisting of the World Countries TOPO contour lines and MAJOR
Highways and Routes ONLY. You would use these special maps if you did not have any
detailed maps for your Country or Area. The maps are constructed so that if you
place a detailed map in your GPS our Background Maps will only engage themselves when the
detail map runs out of information. Our Background maps are set to work
from a scale of 100 feet and higher.] Use our Flash Card to Store Continuous Tracks on Your SDHC Card and not be limited to the 5000 breadcrumb capacity of Internal Memory. As an example, you can store on this SDHC card about 3600 breadcrumbs/hour and have room for over 1000 hours of data.
